Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a regular graduation degree in any discipline from a university or institute recognised by the Central Government. The cut-off date for educational qualification is 06 June 2026. Candidates who have completed post-graduation are not eligible. Candidates with one year or more of work experience after completing their educational qualification are also not eligible. Additionally, candidates must not have completed five years since passing their qualifying examination.

Local Language Proficiency

Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state/UT for which they are applying — covering reading, writing, speaking, and understanding. They must produce a mark sheet or certificate at 8th, 10th, 12th, or graduation level showing that the relevant local language was studied.

Age Limit

The minimum age is 20 years and the maximum is 28 years, calculated as on 01 May 2026.

Stipend and Terms of Engagement

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,300. No daily allowance, conveyance allowance, or travelling allowance is payable. Training hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM; no overtime is permitted. Apprentices are entitled to one casual leave per month of service; a maximum of four casual leaves may be availed at one time.

The engagement period is 12 months. Apprentices will not hold employee status, will not be entitled to any employee benefits, and will have no right to claim employment with the bank on completion of training. Selection Process
