Only Indian nationals are eligible. Experience must be post-qualification and in the sectors specified in the official notification (Petroleum / Oil & Gas / Petrochemicals / Power / Fertilizer / Automobile / Defence / Engineering & Capital Goods — post-wise). Sandwich Diploma courses (with industrial training as part of the course) are accepted for Engineering posts.

Age Limit (as on 01.04.2026)

  • Junior Executive (Engineering / Wayside Amenities) and Secretary BPCL: 18 to 32 years
  • Junior Executive (Accounts): 30 to 35 years (minimum age 30 years applies)
  • Associate Executive (Quality Assurance / Official Language): 18 to 35 years

Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years | OBC-NCL – 3 years | PwBD – 10 years | Ex-Servicemen – 5 years. Cumulative relaxation is capped at a maximum of 10 years in all cases.

Salary and Pay Structure

Selected candidates are inducted at the minimum of the applicable pay scale. No higher starting pay is mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process
