Educational Qualification

Assistant Section Officer / Grade-II (ASO): Graduation in any discipline (Arts, Science, Commerce, or Agriculture) from a recognised university or institution.
Legal Assistant: Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) from a recognised university. Refer to the official notification for department-specific requirements.
Assistant Engineer (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.

Age Relaxation

Age relaxation applies as per Government of NCT of Delhi rules: OBC candidates get 3 years; SC/ST candidates get 5 years; PwBD candidates get 10 years. In addition to basic pay, selected candidates receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance as per Government of NCT of Delhi rules. Exact in-hand figures depend on posting location and applicable allowances at the time of joining.

Selection Process

The selection process under Advt. No. 01/2026 is multi-stage:

Tier I: Computer-based objective exam — 200 multiple-choice questions covering General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Arithmetic and Numerical Ability, Hindi and English Language, and Subject-Specific paper. Total marks: 200. Duration: 2 hours. Negative marking applies: 0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer (for 1-mark questions); 0.50 marks for 2-mark questions.
Tier II: Descriptive/subject-specific paper for ASO, Legal Assistant, and AE posts. For JE posts, Tier II covers technical subjects.
Skill Test / Trade Test / Endurance Test / Driving Test: Applicable post-wise as specified in the notification.
Medical Examination: Applicable before final appointment.
Document Verification: Required at final stage.

Category-wise minimum qualifying marks: General — 40%; OBC (Delhi) — 35%; SC/ST/PwBD — 30%. Ex-Servicemen receive 5% relaxation in their respective category, subject to a minimum of 30%.

For Advt. No. 02/2026, selection is through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) in either one-tier or two-tier format depending on the post, as specified in the official notification.

Enter your basic details — full name, valid mobile number, and active email address. A Registration ID and password will be sent to your registered email. Save these credentials.
Log in using the Registration ID and password received.
Fill in the application form completely — personal details, father’s name, date of birth, address, educational qualifications, and category.
Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature in the prescribed format (JPG/JPEG; each file between 15 KB and 60 KB).
Upload your photo identity proof (PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence, or Passport). Aadhaar number can be provided instead of a scanned ID proof.
Pay the application fee online using the available payment method.
